draw on your egg first.
then put bees wax in the melty cup thing
melt the wax in a flame
now cover anything you want to stay white with wax.
this is December starting her design. She has a good book with lots of designs to choose from.
here are the dyes to choose from. They are not easter egg dyes.
this is my egg with the 1st color add to it.
this is my egg with all 3 colors added to it. After each color you have to cover it with wax to keep it from being dyed over.... get it?
then heat up the wax next to the flame, and slowly rub it off, bit by bit. It will show the design under all the wax in its true glory.

1st Thursday at the new Moshi Moshi was awesome. I could only stay for a little bit but everyone there was stoked on the show. So many good ideas and sweet paintings of MRT. I think the "best in show" was Cathy Pitters piece, embroidered.

Ground Control

Elijah and I went to ground control and geeked out a little. They have the Doctor Who pinball there. We are huge fans of DR. WHO so that was sweet. Tube'n,Gorf,Burgertime,Donkey Kong, and Tron. All so fun.
